This circle pendant has a been created with my blue colour palette. I've hand-cut 24 pieces of Dichroic glass for this design, using a shiny rich royal blue, a smooth soft sky blue, a clear floral textured purple/blue and an added accent of a wavy textured silver. This drop pendant has a smooth finish with a slightly organic shape as a result of my kiln firing process. The blue hue in the pendant has come to life, showcasing the beautiful contrast of mid-turquoise, surrounded by the deep veins of blue/purple. My etched 'Tree of Balance' has been framed with Dichroic glass in a fusion of blue/black and green to strengthen the design. The once smooth Dichroic glass has become a fine crinkle texture after my firing process and highlights my silver etching.
