This drop pendant has a smooth finish and a sense of depth after being fired twice. Working with my warm colour palette, I have incorporated 10 different hand-cut pieces of Dichroic glass to create this magical piece. There's patterned textures with hues of autumn, with gold, copper, orange and rusty red, a course crinkle honey yellow with tinges of green, a smooth rusty red/copper with a beautiful textured feature in green/blue.Capturing the true lustre of my glasswork through the camera lens - simply does not do it justice. It's only when you physically see it, you notice the beautiful colours shining through.The inspiration for my drop pendant came from a blend of cultures while travelling throughout Asia with its vibrant sights and colours. This smooth drop pendant has been created with my warm colour palette. I've hand-cut 7 individual pieces of Dichroic glass using 3 different textures, vivid circles of purple/red/gold, stripes of red/orange with a tinge of green, waves of rust/orange with a tinge of green, a pattern of red melding into orange, gold, blue and green and 2 corner features with a fusion of gold/green with a tinge of blue.
